About WaxedEntanglement
My name is Kelly Largent, and I am a mixed media artist. I create wooden frames that I turn into looms and then weave into them. I embellish my weaving with wood carving, needle felting, embroidery, and more. I am completely self taught and always learning more skills to add to my art.
Each piece was created with care by me with my own hands and hand guided tools. I do my best to source my material from other small businesses - yarn makers/dyers, and the only locally owned lumber yard left in my town.

I have been working on this landscape, inspired by purple mountains, and mesmerizing overlooks. Check out my process from building the frame, warping, and eventually weaving the project. All of my pieces are embellished with one art or another, this particular piece has elements of macramé, needle felting, and embroidery. Keep checking back for the final product!
